Job Summary
 

Our client is seeking a motivated Field Service Engineer to provide technical support, servicing, and troubleshooting for electronic test and measurement equipment. This position offers valuable exposure to the semiconductor, electric vehicle, and clean energy industries, as well as opportunities to work with advanced testing technologies.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Identify customers’ technical needs and recommend suitable technical solutions.
• Provide on-site / off-site service and training for Test & Measurement equipment (Source, Load, Meter, etc) and related automation project to customers.
• Perform installation, commissioning, trouble-shooting, calibrating, testing and repair of relevant tester & Equipment in house and at customer location
• Diagnose electronic circuit issues and resolve technical problems efficiently, ensure  software/ firmware Upgrades.
• Deliver timely Maintenance Support services to customers to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Provide training and demonstration to local/overseas customers and branch offices.
• Maintain proper service documentation and provide technical feedback when required.
• Support Logistic Department in store management
• Provide Service, Upgrade and Tester Cards quotation and proposal and other ad-hoc duties assigned by manager

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Science or a related field.
• Experience in troubleshooting electronic circuits or within the electronics industry.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, training will be provided.
• Experience in the semiconductor industry will be an added advantage.
• Good communication skills, especially in English.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies.
• Self-motivated, independent, and able to work in a dynamic multi-tasking environment.
• Possess own transport
• Available positions based in Penang, Melaka and Selangor office.
