Our client, an established corporate group, is seeking an experienced Head of Human Resource & Administration to lead the Group's Human Resources and Administration function. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and CEO, this strategic leadership role is a member of the Senior Management Team and will play a key role in driving people strategy, corporate governance, organisational excellence and business transformation across the Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the Group's Human Capital strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead workforce planning, organisational development, succession planning and performance management initiatives.
  • Oversee end-to-end HR functions including recruitment, compensation & benefits, employee engagement, training and leadership development.
  • Manage employee and industrial relations, including disciplinary matters and domestic inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment legislation, corporate governance requirements, Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements, PDPA, ISO standards and ESG initiatives.
  • Lead ISO implementation, risk management and continuous improvement programmes.
  • Provide HR strategic support to the Board and Senior Management, including manpower planning, organisational updates and policy development.
  • Oversee Administration, Facilities Management, IT Administration, Corporate Communications, Marketing and corporate branding activities.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives, HRIS implementation, business continuity planning and cybersecurity support.
  • Lead Corporate Communications and Marketing activities, including corporate branding, website and social media management, investor communications, corporate events and CSR initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Law, Management, Psychology or a related discipline.
  • Master's Degree/MBA and professional HR certifications (e.g. MIHRM, SHRM, CIPD) will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 12–15 years of progressive HR & Administration experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
  • Proven experience in organisational development, HR transformation and managing HR functions across multiple business entities.
  • Experience supporting a listed company, IPO or public-listed environment will be highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment legislation, corporate governance, compliance and HR best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication and strategic planning skills.
