A growing HVAC component manufacturing SME is seeking a hands-on Procurement / Purchasing professional to manage end-to-end purchasing and materials planning, with strong focus on commodity sourcing (metal, copper).
This is a key role ideal for candidates looking to step up into a broader Supply Chain function with real ownership, especially in managing price fluctuations and cost optimisation of raw materials. 

What You Will Do

• Take full ownership of procurement and purchasing activities – sourcing, vendor selection, price negotiation, and order management
• Manage material planning, inventory coordination, and supplier delivery schedules to support production
• Work closely with production, warehouse, and finance to ensure smooth operations and on-time fulfilment
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships (local & regional)
• Monitor material costs, lead times, and stock levels to optimise cost and availability
• Handle ERP / MRP system updates, purchase orders, and documentation
• Support basic logistics coordination and inbound shipments when required
• Identify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency, cost savings, and supply reliability

What We’re Looking For

• Diploma / Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Business, or Engineering
• 3 – 6 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment
• Experience in ERP / MRP systems and basic inventory planning
• Exposure to supplier negotiation and sourcing
• Hands-on, independent, and proactive – comfortable being a one-person function
• Strong sense of ownership, responsibility, and willingness to learn beyond purchasing
• Experience in HVAC / engineering / manufacturing industry is an added advantage
