Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Engineer to drive business growth within the semiconductor and electronics industries. The role involves developing new accounts, managing key customer relationships, and providing technical sales support for advanced electronic test and measurement solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and deployment of sales strategies and sales team activities to maximize market coverage and revenue growth.
  • Assist in training, guiding, and evaluating sales staff performance to achieve optimal team productivity.
  • Ensure sales operations, including distribution, after-sales service, and collections, are effectively managed in line with company objectives.
  • Develop new business opportunities and manage existing customer accounts within the Central Region.
  • Evaluate market potential and identify new opportunities within the semiconductor and electronics sectors.
  • Actively follow up on customer inquiries, quotations, and project opportunities.
  • Understand customers’ technical requirements and propose suitable technical solutions, product demonstrations, and application support.
  • Plan, forecast, and achieve assigned sales targets and revenue objectives.
  • Maintain accurate customer data and sales activities using company CRM tools.
  • Build strong and long-term relationships with customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the semiconductor, test & measurement, or electronics equipment industry.
  • Technical background in electronic test & measurement equipment, electrical/electronics systems, or semiconductor equipment/handlers is preferred.
  • Exposure to E&E test and measurement solutions (e.g., EMI/EMC) or semiconductor equipment will be an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic industrial equipment or semiconductor technologies.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, especially in English.
  • Self-motivated, dynamic, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel within Malaysia.
