Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Field Service Engineer to lead technical service, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities for advanced electronic test and measurement equipment. The role offers exposure to cutting-edge technologies within the semiconductor, electric vehicle, and clean energy industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced troubleshooting, servicing, and repair of electronic test and measurement equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose complex electronic circuit and system issues and implement effective corrective solutions.
• Lead on-site technical support activities to ensure minimal equipment downtime and maximum operational efficiency.
• Work closely with customers to understand technical requirements and recommend suitable solutions or improvements.
• Conduct technical training and product application support for customers and internal teams.
• Support installation, commissioning, and calibration of equipment at customer sites.
• Mentor and guide junior field service engineers and technicians when required.
• Maintain accurate service documentation, technical reports, and service records.
• Provide feedback to engineering and product teams regarding recurring technical issues and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term service relationships.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in servicing, troubleshooting, or maintaining electronic test and measurement equipment or related electronics systems.
• Experience supporting customers in the semiconductor or electronics manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of electronic circuits, instrumentation, and test & measurement equipment.
• Experience in equipment installation, commissioning, and calibration is an advantage.
• Proficiency in computer hardware and software applications.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, especially in English.
• Self-motivated, independent, and capable of managing multiple service tasks simultaneously.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel within Malaysia.
