Job Summary

Our client is seeking a motivated Field Service Engineer to provide technical support, servicing, and troubleshooting for electronic test and measurement equipment. This position offers valuable exposure to the semiconductor, electric vehicle, and clean energy industries, as well as opportunities to work with advanced testing technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify customers’ technical needs and recommend suitable technical solutions.
• Provide product training, application support, and on-site technical assistance to customers.
• Perform servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic test and measurement equipment.
• Diagnose electronic circuit issues and resolve technical problems efficiently.
• Deliver timely technical support to customers to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Minimise equipment downtime and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Maintain proper service documentation and provide technical feedback when required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in troubleshooting electronic circuits or within the electronics industry.
• Experience in the semiconductor industry will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in computer hardware and software applications.
• Good communication skills, especially in English.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies.
• Self-motivated, independent, and able to work in a dynamic multi-tasking environment.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel within Malaysia.
