Assistant Finance Manager

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts data.   
  • Responsible to prepare monthly financial statements and all financial schedules on a timely basis  
  • Generate statement of accounts and aging reports.
  • To ensure accurate, prompt and up-to-date system entry.
  • Maintain cash book to ensure in/out funds are updated.
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliation.
  • Liaise with bankers for treasury matters such as bank loans, foreign exchange, etc.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and the customs department on any matters related to statutory requirements and reporting 
  • Overseeing year end stock count process and prepare variance report.
  • Ability to Lead the Finance and Accounting function for the company.   
Job Requirements
  • Possess Bachelor's Degree in Finance or accounting, or equivalent.
  • 4 years relevant experience in major company or division of a large corporation.
  • Good knowledge and skill in MS Office application esp spreadsheets.
  • Excellent communication skill is essential, particularly in regard to presenting the results of analysis to management.
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English.
  • Highly detail-oriented, able to work independently and handle multi-task.
